Maria Card Game
Maria Solitaire—what a game of elegance and charm, like a beautiful dance. She is much like her sister games, Limited Solitaire and Forty Thieves Solitaire, but Maria has her own unique flair. We begin with 36 cards, dealt into nine piles of four, each one waiting for your careful touch. Only the top card in each pile is available, and, darling, you must play wisely. You build the tableau down by alternating colors—such a colorful game, don't you think? Meanwhile, the eight foundations are built up from Ace to King, each suit finding its proper royal order.
But Maria can be fickle, and sometimes, the path forward is not clear. When you find yourself stuck, fear not! Simply deal from the stockpile to the waste, one card at a time, and see if fortune smiles upon you. The cards from the waste pile can help you bring order to the tableau or build up those foundations. And if you should clear a pile completely, then, you have the freedom to start anew, with any card of your choosing. It’s a delightful twist that adds depth to the game—a bit of strategic spice, if you will. Maria Solitaire demands careful thought, adaptability, and a hint of courage, for you must always decide the best way to manage your cards. She may be a challenge, but oh, the rewards are sweet for those who master the dance.
